Job Title: Site Contract Manager
Location: Boden, Sweden
Assignment Type: Annually Renewable Contract
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday
Residential/Rotation Options: Full-time residential or rotational (5 weeks on-site, 3 weeks remote, with one as vacation)

Are you an experienced Contract Manager looking to take on a key role in a high-profile industrial project? We are seeking a skilled professional to oversee contract management and administration for a major construction programme in Sweden. This is a unique opportunity to work within a cross-functional site team, ensuring seamless contract execution while mitigating risks and maintaining compliance with project standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage site contractors, ensuring effective contract administration and compliance.
  • Work collaboratively as part of an integrated cross-functional site team.
  • Identify contractual and commercial risks, implementing mitigation measures.
  • Ensure a flexible approach while adhering to project requirements and industry standards.
  • Support contract strategy development for the project site and contract management teams.
  • Oversee the processing and enforcement of change requests, change orders, and claims.
  • Participate in contract reviews and negotiations to safeguard project interests.
  • Align with other contract managers to ensure consistency in contract interpretation.
  • Provide guidance on contractual issues, risk analysis, and mitigation strategies.
  • Liaise with internal departments such as Legal, Engineering, Finance, and Technical teams.
  • Ensure full compliance with project policies, procedures, and contract management systems.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum 10 years of experience as a Contract Manager on major construction projects.
  • Strong legal, commercial, or technical background (university degree or equivalent preferred).
  • Excellent communication skills – clear, concise, and to the point in both verbal and written correspondence.
  • Proven ability to work in fast-paced environments, managing multiple stakeholders effectively.
