Responsibilities:

Design Review and Approval: Review and approve water utility system designs, ensuring full compliance with project specifications, local water management regulations, and sustainability practices. Provide expert feedback to ensure designs are robust, efficient, and meet all required standards.

Site Supervision and Project Management: Supervise the installation and testing of water utility systems, including pipelines, pumping stations, and treatment facilities. Manage all water utility-related activities during the construction phase to ensure timely completion, adherence to budget, and compliance with quality standards.

Coordination with Other Disciplines: Collaborate with other engineering disciplines, such as civil, mechanical, and electrical engineers, to ensure the seamless integration of water utility systems with the broader infrastructure project.

Quality Control and Compliance: Implement rigorous quality control measures to ensure the reliability, efficiency, and durability of water utility systems. Ensure all installations meet or exceed local standards and regulations, particularly concerning water quality and environmental impact.

Technical Issue Resolution: Address and resolve any technical issues related to water utility systems that arise during construction, coordinating with design teams and contractors to implement effective solutions.

Client Liaison and Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for all water utility-related matters, providing clear communication with the client, addressing queries, and ensuring that client requirements are fully met.

Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed records of all water utility-related activities, including progress reports, QA/QC documentation, and compliance certifications. Ensure that all necessary documentation is complete and ready for project closeout and handover.
