Senior Technology Support Executive

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Technology Support Executive to join a dynamic technology solutions team. This role is ideal for individuals with a passion for infrastructure, security, and networking solutions, offering the chance to engage with cutting-edge technologies and support high-impact projects.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Provide technical pre-sales support, articulating infrastructure design with in-depth product knowledge in one or more of the following areas: Data Centre, Collaboration, Network, and Security Solutions.

  • Drive solution sales by understanding clients’ technical needs and translating them into tailored solutions.

  • Develop expertise in leading OEM technologies, such as Cisco, Check Point, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Dell/EMC, HPE, VMware, F5 DNS, and LTM.

  • Proposal Preparation: Support RFQ/RFP tender processes, ensuring timely and high-quality bid submissions.

  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to gather requirements through phone, collaboration tools, and direct discussions.

  • Lead client discovery sessions, documenting needs and translating them into viable technical solutions.

  • Develop Bill of Materials (BoM) and configuration plans for complex solutions, selecting the appropriate models based on capacity, sizing, and IT environment needs.

  • Assess client infrastructure and propose relevant solutions, defining technical service scopes for end-to-end implementation.

  • Facilitate and lead complex solution design, working closely with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure seamless integration.

  • Estimate project effort, develop work breakdown structures, and define project timelines.

  • Create network diagrams in Visio and prepare structured PowerPoint presentations that translate business needs into technical designs.

  • Adhere to pre-sales processes and use collaboration tools effectively to communicate and deliver results.

  • Conduct self-driven research on emerging technologies and OEM solutions to stay updated in a fast-evolving landscape.

Experience and Skills Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

  • Experience: Open to fresh graduates with a strong technical foundation and a keen interest in pre-sales engineering.

  • Strong technical sales and communication skills, with a customer-centric approach.

  • Passion for new technologies and a self-motivated learning mindset.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for complex BoM consolidation, design synchronisation, and P&L management.

  • Expertise in at least one of the following technology domains: Networking, Data Centre, Security, or Collaboration.

  • Required Certification: Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or equivalent.

  • Desirable Certifications:

    • Certifications in leading solutions for Networking, Data Centre Storage, Server, and Backup Solutions (traditional and hyper-converged infrastructure).

    • Certifications in Security solutions from Gartner-recognised leaders.

    • Certifications in Collaboration solutions such as Cisco or Avaya.
