Description:
A project controls specialist with a diverse skillset within the discipline as well as solid experience from large construction projects - preferrable within offshore wind.
The person will be allocated full-time to an offshore wind project reporting to the Project Controls Director.
The Project Controls Specialist will take on a broad role supporting the existing project controls teams with a range of tasks related to project planning, risk management, and scope and change management. Also assisting the Project Controls Director with regular consolidated reporting to internal and external stakeholders and update dashboards/visualizations for performance tracking.
The tasks can vary during the period depending on work load for the each of the teams performing under the Project Controls Director and due to changing focus, however some of the main tasks within the disciplines are listed below.
Planning:
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6.
Perform various analyses related to scenarios, critical path and float.
Monitor project progress and update schedules regularly.
Identify and report on schedule risks, delays, or deviations.
Risk management:
- Facilitate risk identification, running workshops and periodic meetings.
Good knowledge and experience using ARM (Active Risk Manager).
Work with project teams to assess and update risk impact and likelihood.
Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies.
Scope and Change Management:
- Track and document changes in project scope, budget, or schedule.
Assess the impact of changes and integrate them into project controls tools, including the changes to the contingency reserves and risk exposure.
Facilitate approval processes for change requests
