Position Title: Senior PTW Instructor
Reports To: Head of Permit to Work (PTW)
Position Overview:
The Senior PTW Instructor is responsible for developing and updating training materials for the Permit to Work (PTW) system, Energy Isolation, and ePTW, ensuring they meet evolving business needs. The role also focuses on capturing and sharing lessons learned within operational facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and update PTW-related training materials, incorporating lessons learned.
- Organize communication sessions for procedural updates and ensure timely dissemination of changes.
- Support PTW system improvements and assist with assigned tasks from management.
- Ensure ePTW system access is granted to trained and competent personnel.
- Provide consultation support for PTW procedures during regular operations and shutdowns.
- Coordinate with PTW coordinators and the training team for regular updates and meetings.
- Organize lessons learned communication sessions for PTW system users.
- Support PTW audit activities and participate in system improvements, testing, and implementation.
Person Specification – Minimum Requirements:
Qualifications:
- HND in Engineering or equivalent.
Experience:
- At least 6 years of experience in Operations, Maintenance, or SHE roles in the oil and gas industry, with 2+ years as a PTW instructor.
- Expertise in SHE procedures, hazard identification, risk assessment, and international PTW standards.
Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong presentation, communication, and written skills in English.
