Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team at Ras Laffan, Qatar. This position offers a challenging opportunity to work on high-profile projects within the Oil and Gas industry. The ideal candidate will bring technical expertise, project management capabilities, and advanced knowledge of engineering tools to support and drive success in critical engineering initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical leadership and expertise in electrical engineering for oil and gas projects.
- Participate as a key member of the project management team, contributing to the successful execution of projects within scope, schedule, and budget.
- Perform advanced electrical design, analysis, and troubleshooting, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project specifications.
- Manage and oversee electrical engineering deliverables, including drawings, calculations, specifications, and technical reports.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems across projects.
- Ensure all work aligns with technical competence framework requirements and maintains compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Utilize advanced engineering software tools and systems to drive efficiencies in project design and execution.
- Maintain clear and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders, demonstrating excellent written and verbal English skills.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Degree in Engineering or Science, majoring in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 8 years’ experience in electrical engineering, with at least 4 years in a project management team role within the Oil and Gas industry.
- Proficiency in relevant engineering software tools, systems, and design platforms.
- Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage technical competence in accordance with organizational requirements.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and capable of working independently in a dynamic environment.
