JOB DESCRIPTION:
Migration of BW and EWM SAP landscape and systems into AWS Cloud.
We are in the process of landing our SAP landscape into the AWS Cloud and SAP EWM and BW are on the forefront of that migration.
In order to run the process smooth and coordinate the efforts of this journey, we need an experienced technical cloud migration manager, to support our teams in multiple delivery organizations to run towards a common goal. As this is a new area for our IT, candidate should have experience with leading cloud migration projects to be able to point out potential challenges and issues before they arise and provide guidance on governance setup, execution, and successful transition into operations in the new landscape. This initiative will be used as a role model and methodology establishment for the next waves of the cloud migration both our SAP and non-SAP solution to AWS Cloud.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Good experience in managing complex cloud migration projects, (i.e. SAP, Oracle) and securing the service transition to operations.
Strong project management skills and able securing the support for the project and the progress across several delivery organizations. Can establish a structured setup and governance framework to guide the migration efforts.
Solid experience in overseeing the creation of an operating model in a new cloud environment, including building internal knowledge and capabilities within CLIENT teams.
Proficient in stakeholder management, can secure stakeholders buy-in, is a strong relation builder and have god communication skills in order to provide efficient communication on multiple levels: with technical leaders, architects, but also senior executives
Has a good technical understanding and can navigate in technically challenging environments and can address challenges across different domains, particularly in a first-mover scenario at CLIENT
Experience working in SAFe/Agile setup is an advantage.
