Job Overview
The Senior Civil & Structural Engineer will lead and oversee structural design and analysis for complex projects, specializing in steel and concrete structures, foundation design, and overall structural integrity. This role requires expertise in advanced structural analysis software, including StaadPro and SpaceGass, to deliver robust, cost-effective solutions that meet project requirements, industry standards, and regulatory guidelines. The Senior Engineer will also mentor junior engineers, contribute to project planning, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to drive project success.
Key Responsibilities

Advanced Structural Analysis: Conduct and review in-depth structural analyses for steel and concrete structures, ensuring stability, durability, and compliance with safety standards. This includes assessment of load, stress, and dynamic factors for optimal structural performance.

Foundation Design: Lead and perform complex foundation design, considering soil conditions, environmental factors, and load-bearing requirements to develop safe and stable foundations for various structure types.

Design of Steel and Concrete Structures: Develop comprehensive designs for structural elements, including beams, columns, slabs, and frames, with a focus on efficiency and longevity. Ensure designs meet or exceed regulatory and industry standards.

Software Expertise: Utilize StaadPro and SpaceGass for advanced modeling, analysis, and validation of designs. Ensure accuracy and precision in all structural models, maintaining a strong focus on risk mitigation.

Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineering team members, fostering knowledge-sharing and skill development. Act as a primary resource for complex structural queries and technical challenges.

Project Collaboration: Work closely with architects, project managers, and other engineering teams to align structural designs with overall project goals. Provide structural engineering expertise throughout all project phases, from conceptual design through to construction.

Compliance and Standards: Ensure all engineering solutions adhere to local, national, and international codes and regulations. Stay updated on the latest standards and technological advancements in civil and structural engineering.

Documentation and Reporting: Prepare and oversee the development of all necessary technical documentation, including design reports, structural calculations, analysis summaries, and drawings. Maintain a rigorous attention to detail and accuracy.
Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.

Experience:
- Minimum of 10+ years of experience in civil and structural engineering, with demonstrated expertise in structural design and analysis for steel and concrete structures.
- Experience in a senior or lead engineering role, preferably within large or complex projects.

- Advanced proficiency in structural engineering software, specifically StaadPro and SpaceGass.
