Regulatory Compliance Analyst

We are seeking a Regulatory Compliance Analyst to join a dynamic team within the Oil & Gas industry. This role involves developing and delivering Regulatory Compliance training programmes while leading audit processes to ensure adherence to international and local regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in compliance, auditing, and training, with the ability to mentor less experienced auditors and quality inspectors.

Key Responsibilities

Regulatory Compliance & Audits

  • Develop and implement a Corporate Audit Guideline aligned with the project lifecycle.
  • Plan and conduct internal and external audits to ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal policies.
  • Work closely with Regulatory Compliance teams across Engineering, Procurement, Pre-Operations, and Operations.
  • Organise, facilitate, and follow up on external audits and inspections related to international and local standards.
  • Develop and maintain compliance checklists to support regulatory adherence during all project phases, including Construction, Commissioning, and Integration.
  • Support projects during external audits conducted by clients and regulatory authorities.

Training & Development

  • Develop and implement a Regulatory Compliance Training Programme.
  • Conduct training needs analysis to identify and implement required training initiatives.
  • Deliver corporate compliance training programmes using various methodologies tailored to different audiences.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (preferably in a relevant discipline).
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in auditing and training processes, preferably within the Oil & Gas industry.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Regulatory Compliance processes.
  • Strong knowledge of Oil & Gas compliance regulations and the ability to conduct independent training programmes.
  • Certified Lead Auditor (ISO 9001/14001/45001) or equivalent audit experience.
  • Experience in internal and external audit processes.
  • Knowledge of QHSE management systems in industries such as Oil & Gas, petrochemicals, or related sectors.
  • Desirable: Experience or knowledge of Brazilian Occupational Health and Safety, Operational Safety, ANP, IBAMA regulations.
  • Desirable: Experience in Project Monitoring & Controlling using Power BI and associated tools.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Highly organised and detail-oriented, with a proactive approach to compliance and regulatory challenges.
