Work Schedule: 7 Days a Week/ 12 Hours a day
JOB DESCRIPTION:
As a QC Manager/Report Coordinator at DEME, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest quality standards across our projects. You will be responsible for coordinating quality control activities, preparing detailed reports, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. Experience with Multibeam Echosounder (MBES) and Side Scan Sonar (SSS) technologies is highly desirable
RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Manages how onboard processors will deliver the data and coordinates how to deliver data to the client rep, always consulting the QC manager onshore)
-Help and assist the party chief to manage all data recorded during the project
-Represent the processing team during the meeting with client rep, office and captain
-In contact close contact with Project Manager, Party Chief.
-Responsible to check coverages and project specifications creating infill and rerun lines when it's necessary.
-Backup all data and documentation, and preserve all project information, adding all information related to the processing routine
-Responsible to QAQC the complete data set.
-Write report about the delivered data, data quality, encountered issues, data analysis, etc.
-Take an active part in writing the processing and result reports
QUALIFICATIONS:
-Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
-Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, excellent communication, and proficiency in report writing.
TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS:
-Software knowledge: QGIS (GIS) - GlobalMapper (GIS) - Autoclean (MBES) - SonarWizz (SSS) - Oasis Montaj (MAG)
-Minimum of 7 years of experience in quality control, preferably in the marine or construction industry.
