Project Surveyor - Oil & Gas - London
Our client is a Global Oil & Gas company that has been awarded work in Africa and Middle East and therefore looking to expand the team in UK
The ideal candidate will be someone with
Degree in survey related discipline, such as geology, geophysics, topography, ICT/Electronics and/or survey positioning
Working experience as a Survey Engineer, preferably in the Oil & Gas industry
Familiar with a range of major industry supplier/equipment's
Responsibilities
- Support the Project Management Team in the placement and supervision of survey services required to execute the Project Scope, liaising with Engineering, Procurement, Operations, Quality, Health & Safety, Interface, Package Managers etc
- Review Main Contract scope and specifications to establish understanding of Survey requirements as defined by the Contract.
- Review/amend Execution Schedule to establish/confirm durations for survey activities
- Interface and manage the project requirements with all the project stakeholders to meet the contractual and client requirements per project scope requirements
- Review Survey Scopes and RFQ's, advise on any omitted /additional requirements, optimisations or amendments.
- Review and approval as required of proposed survey spreads, ensuring suitable contingency measures are in place and scope of supply is suitable for the requirements of the project scope of work.
- Performance of technical reviews of sub-contractor offers for the various survey scopes
- Follow-up with Procurement on Purchase Requisitions to ensure items purchased are according to project specification and delivered as per Required On-Site (ROS) date.
- Follow-up on equipment/material arrival, inspection and issuance; to ensure equipment/material are according to project specification
