LOCATION: STOCKHOLM, SWEDEN
WORK SCHEDULE: MONDAY - FRIDAY (40 HOURS PER WEEK)

We are strengthening our procurement team with a Project Procurement Lead, to lead sourcing projects for supply and services for our construction in Boden, Sweden.
In the role as Project Procurement Lead, you will ensure sourcing strategies align to project goals and time schedules, that procurement delivery quality is high and in line with client policies and procedures. You build the strong relationships needed with partners and suppliers to successfully deliver construction projects together with your colleagues in other functions.
Responsibilities:
- Lead sourcing projects for equipment and contractors to fulfil the needs of our large construction projects, collaborating closely with client colleagues and EPCM partner organizations.
Maintain sourcing strategies and plans, and work with engineering and construction teams to identify improvements to scopes and designs and to deliver fit-for-project supplier awards.
Prepare recommendations for award decisions, backed by strong negotiated sourcing outcomes, and support effective decision making with project and procurement management.
Establish strong relationships with project stakeholders, partners and suppliers, and act as commercial lead for assigned scopes.
Identify risks and opportunities for scope budgets and market availability, and seek value improvement within, and across, projects.
Work closely with the Technology, Commercial, Construction, Business Control, Supply Chain and Finance teams, both in sharing insights and in setting priorities and routines.
Background

A degree in Engineering, MSc or MBA/Relevant University Degree.
At least 10 years of relevant procurement experience, including a minimum of five years in a project/capex environment, leading sourcing projects for industrial equipment and/or construction services.
Strong leadership skills and the ability to influence others, including broad contract negotiation experience.
Exemplary self-leadership, multitasking and organizational skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication in English
A solid experience in, and preference for, digital procurement delivery, to maximize the value of e-tendering, common data and analytics.

- Experience from working in the construction industry or contexts relevant to large construction projects.
Experience in working in manufacturing, the steel industry or other industrial environments.
Experience in delivering large international CAPEX projects.
