Role Overview:

We are seeking a Project Engineer with a strong background in commissioning and completions. This role will support the organization by reviewing, prioritising, and organising all relevant plant documentation including Inspection Test Records (ITRs), Non-Conformance Records (NCRs), Outstanding worklist (OWL) and punch list items into discipline-specific work scopes and work packs. This role is critical for ensuring compliance and governance with regards to handover of plant and associated equipment into live plant operations.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and package items per shutdown / non-shutdown scope.
  • Review and assess ITRs and NCRs to determine scope, priority, and discipline allocation.
  • Develop and compile detailed workpacks based on ITRs and NCRs for efficient execution.
  • Coordinate with engineering, operations, and maintenance teams to ensure alignment and feasibility of workpacks.
  • Support scheduling and planning efforts to streamline the resolution of NCRs and completion of ITRs.
  • Monitor progress, address challenges, and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
  • Provide technical input and recommendations to improve inspection and maintenance workflows.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Proven experience in a maintenance and/or project engineering role, ideally in a heavy industrial or process plant environment.
  • Strong understanding of Inspection Test Records and Non-Conformance Record processes.
  • Proficiency in work order management systems and workpack preparation.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills to liaise effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Commitment to safety and adherence to relevant regulations and standards
