Job Title: Project Engineer
Location: Boden, Sweden
Assignment Type: Annually Renewable Contract
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday (8 Hours a day)

Role Overview
As a Project Engineer, you will play a key role in supervising, planning, coordinating, and executing construction projects. Working within the Owner’s team, you will ensure seamless collaboration between designers, contractors, and official bodies to drive projects from conception to completion.
Key Responsibilities

Oversee design works and execution of construction projects, ensuring alignment with project goals.

Develop project scopes, budgets, timelines, and resource plans.

Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams, designers, contractors, and stakeholders.

Create and maintain comprehensive project schedules, covering all phases from design and permitting to construction and commissioning.

Monitor project progress and produce regular status reports.

Ensure compliance with local residential housing standards, safety regulations, and company policies.

Provide technical specifications to support procurement activities and assess vendor and contractor submissions.

Solve technical challenges and provide engineering solutions at all project stages.

Maintain detailed project documentation, including drawings, specifications, and reports.

Act as the Owner’s representative in site meetings, preparing minutes and following up on actions.

Conduct site inspections to ensure adherence to design and quality standards.
Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related discipline).

2–5 years of experience in project engineering or a related role.

Strong knowledge of project management principles and tools.

Proficiency in relevant industry software.

Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Familiarity with Swedish construction industry contract standards.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Experience in value engineering work.

PMP certification is advantageous but not required.

Fluency in both Swedish and English.
