Job Title: Procurement Specialist

Project: NFPS Compression COMP3 Project

Job Purpose

Expedite all contractor procurement activities for the project, ensuring a cost-effective and compliant Procurement & Materials program.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Align with Project Management Team (PMT) on procurement needs.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement processes and procedures.
  • Review contractor's procurement procedures and processes.
  • Execute Procurement Plans.
  • Develop and implement purchasing plans.
  • Communicate procurement activities and issues to PMT.
  • Advise PMT on procurement issues and mitigation steps.
  • Ensure quality of procurement documents.
  • Plan for effective use of materials management system.
  • Coordinate spare parts management.
  • Provide subcontracting administration support.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Excellent written and spoken English skills.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to monitor EPC Contractor purchasing activities.
  • Proficient in MS Office and business software programs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.

Experience:

  • 5-10 years of experience in procurement management, preferably in the oil and gas industry
