Job Title: Procurement Specialist
Project: NFPS Compression COMP3 Project
Job Purpose
Expedite all contractor procurement activities for the project, ensuring a cost-effective and compliant Procurement & Materials program.
Key Accountabilities:
- Align with Project Management Team (PMT) on procurement needs.
- Ensure compliance with procurement processes and procedures.
- Review contractor's procurement procedures and processes.
- Execute Procurement Plans.
- Develop and implement purchasing plans.
- Communicate procurement activities and issues to PMT.
- Advise PMT on procurement issues and mitigation steps.
- Ensure quality of procurement documents.
- Plan for effective use of materials management system.
- Coordinate spare parts management.
- Provide subcontracting administration support.
Skills and Competencies:
- Excellent written and spoken English skills.
- Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to monitor EPC Contractor purchasing activities.
- Proficient in MS Office and business software programs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
Experience:
- 5-10 years of experience in procurement management, preferably in the oil and gas industry
