Job Title: Source Inspection Coordinator / Procurement Quality Engineer

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Source Inspection Coordinator / Procurement Quality Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the oil and gas sector, with a focus on offshore projects, CRA, and EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) projects. This position requires a highly skilled individual with a comprehensive understanding of procurement quality assurance processes, vendor coordination, and inspection management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage coordination with vendors to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Review requisitions, technical bid evaluations (TBEs), and vendor deliverables.
  • Oversee, monitor, and coordinate vendor and third-party inspection (TPI) activities.
  • Resolve procurement-related quality issues in collaboration with clients.
  • Issue Inspection Release Notes (IRN) to authorize the release of items from the manufacturer’s location.
  • Review and manage the Material Review Board (MRB) process, ensuring timely delivery and client approval.
  • Provide inputs and analysis for procurement-related Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Mechanical Engineering.
  • 10-15 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, including offshore and CRA projects.
  • ISO 9001:2015 certification (Quality Management Systems).
  • Preferred qualifications: CSWIP (Certified Welding Inspector) and ASNT (American Society for Nondestructive Testing) certifications.
  • Extensive experience with EPC projects and vendor management in the oil and gas sector.
  • Strong understanding of procurement processes and quality control procedures.
