Job Title: Source Inspection Coordinator / Procurement Quality Engineer
Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Source Inspection Coordinator / Procurement Quality Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the oil and gas sector, with a focus on offshore projects, CRA, and EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) projects. This position requires a highly skilled individual with a comprehensive understanding of procurement quality assurance processes, vendor coordination, and inspection management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage coordination with vendors to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Review requisitions, technical bid evaluations (TBEs), and vendor deliverables.
- Oversee, monitor, and coordinate vendor and third-party inspection (TPI) activities.
- Resolve procurement-related quality issues in collaboration with clients.
- Issue Inspection Release Notes (IRN) to authorize the release of items from the manufacturer’s location.
- Review and manage the Material Review Board (MRB) process, ensuring timely delivery and client approval.
- Provide inputs and analysis for procurement-related Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Mechanical Engineering.
- 10-15 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, including offshore and CRA projects.
- ISO 9001:2015 certification (Quality Management Systems).
- Preferred qualifications: CSWIP (Certified Welding Inspector) and ASNT (American Society for Nondestructive Testing) certifications.
- Extensive experience with EPC projects and vendor management in the oil and gas sector.
- Strong understanding of procurement processes and quality control procedures.
