Principal Pipeline Engineer

About the Role
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Principal Pipeline Engineer to take a leadership role in delivering high-profile projects across the energy sector. This position offers the chance to work on diverse onshore and offshore pipeline projects, covering front-end engineering, detailed design, construction, and commissioning.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead pipeline engineering activities, ensuring high technical standards, timely delivery, and budget adherence.

Oversee the development of technical solutions and ensure compliance with engineering best practices and industry standards.

Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless project execution.

Develop project estimates and schedules, tracking progress against key performance indicators (SPI & CPI).

Provide expert guidance on Health, Safety, Sustainability, and Environmental responsibilities, ensuring alignment with policies and regulations.

Support resource planning and monitor design progress to maintain efficiency and quality.

Mentor and develop team members, offering technical training and career guidance.

Set clear objectives and support colleagues in achieving them, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
What We’re Looking For:

Extensive experience in Concept / Pre-FEED for onshore and offshore pipeline projects.

A degree, HNC, HND, or equivalent qualification in Engineering.

Chartered Engineer status or a minimum of 10 years’ experience in pipeline engineering.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams and drive project success.

A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
