I am currently looking to speak with an engineer who will take up the position of Principal Pipeline Engineer in Manchester to work on mixed carbon capture / hydrogen projects.

Salary:
£80,000 - £90,000 + + Bonus + Car Allowance + Benefits + Hybrid
Primary Responsibilities:
Oversee technical content, solutions, and delivery of Pipeline Engineering activities, ensuring adherence to budgets and deadlines.
- Ensure design work complies with Company Procedures through thorough checking and approval processes.
- Coordinate with other disciplines as necessary.
- Prepare estimates and schedules for pipeline engineering projects.
- Maintain awareness of Health, Safety, Sustainability, and Environmental responsibilities, ensuring all activities comply with Company policy and client requirements.
- Plan resources adequately, monitor design progress against project schedules (SPI), and track hours spent versus earned value (CPI).
- Communicate organizational performance, policies, and procedures to team members and report feedback and improvement recommendations to the Engineering Manager.
- Provide advice and support for personal and career development to colleagues and subordinates.
- Offer training, information, and instruction, and provide feedback to team members.
- Set objectives and assist colleagues and subordinates in achieving them.
Qualifications:
- Significant experience in FEED on onshore/offshore projects
- A degree, HNC, HND or equivalent qualification in Engineering.
- Chartered Engineer and/or 10 years' experience in this specialist discipline.
