Offshore Construction Superintendent Representative (CSR)
Location: Rotation – Doha / India / Oman / Offshore (28/28 rotation)
Contract Duration: until 31 December 2027
Logistics: Single status allowance provided (Doha-based logistics)

Job Purpose
We are seeking a seasoned Offshore Construction Superintendent Representative (CSR) to act as the project’s lead representative on site during both Simultaneous Operations (SimOps) and Shutdown phases. This key role is responsible for overseeing construction, pre-commissioning, and commissioning activities in a dynamic offshore environment, ensuring all works are executed safely, efficiently, and to the highest technical standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the main point of contact on site, coordinating between project teams, offshore operations, and contractors.

  • Validate and circulate work packs and job cards prepared by contractors.

  • Manage the permit-to-work system, ensuring strict compliance with SimOps procedures.

  • Supervise multidisciplinary construction activities, ensuring alignment with project schedules and HSE requirements.

  • Monitor the execution of work and report regularly to the project’s Brownfield & Hook-Up team and offshore operations leadership.

  • Ensure strict adherence to HSE legislation, internal standards, and relevant international codes.

  • Provide leadership and coordination during offshore hook-up and shutdown campaigns.

  • Support seamless integration between construction and commissioning teams, ensuring readiness for operations.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree, HND or equivalent in a relevant engineering or technical field.

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in offshore oil and gas, including recent experience in offshore construction and hook-up.

  • Proven ability to manage activities under SIMOPS and Brownfield conditions.

  • Experience supervising contractors in an EPC setting from the client side is preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of international standards, industry best practices, and project management methodologies.

  • Familiarity with specifications and standards used by major international operators is advantageous.

  • Previous experience in Qatar or the Middle East is desirable.

  • Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills.

  • Proficient in English (spoken and written) and computer literate.

  • Certifications required: H2S OPITO, T-BOSIET, and MEMIR (Major Emergencies Management – Initial Response, OPITO approved).

  • Ability to work in a complex and multicultural project environment.

  • Willingness to travel and participate in technical missions as required.
