Overview
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Technical Field Advisor (TFA) to oversee the installation of a replacement centrifugal compressor for a high-profile onshore project in Qatar. This is a key position for a technically capable and hands-on professional with a deep understanding of compressor systems in the energy sector.
Key Responsibilities

Lead and supervise the on-site installation of a centrifugal compressor unit

Provide expert-level troubleshooting and technical support throughout the installation and commissioning phases

Coordinate with on-site teams and client representatives to ensure timely and accurate execution of works

Support the implementation of safety standards and ensure compliance with applicable technical procedures

Identify, escalate, and resolve technical issues efficiently to minimise project impact
Essential Experience & Qualifications

Proven hands-on experience with Hitachi centrifugal compressors is essential

Strong background in compressor installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting within the oil and gas or heavy industrial sectors

ATEX training and certification desirable

Excellent communication and team coordination skills

Willingness to be site-based for the duration of the project
