Materials Manager – Oil & Gas

Assignment Type: Residential Contract

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday (10 Hours per Day)
Scope of Service
Managing the supply chain process in collaboration with Warehouse, Procurement, and Finance teams. Responsible for stock analysis, optimization, and ensuring efficient material management in line with company KPIs.
Key Responsibilities

Utilize SAP S/4HANA P2P ERP (MM & WM Modules), CLIENT UNISOL system, and MS Office tools.

Identify and manage various material categories, including electrical, mechanical, chemical, PPE, IT/Telecom, and drilling components.

Classify materials as operating spare parts (consumable, supervised) or capital spare parts (critical).

Act as the technical-commercial-accounting interface for stock management.

Oversee the creation, modification, and optimization of Material Master Data (MM).

Analyze consumption patterns to establish framework contracts.

Conduct Material Requirements Planning (MRP) to optimize stock levels.

Manage the purchasing process from demand identification to order finalization.

Ensure adherence to KPIs, monitor purchasing, and expedite delivery timelines.

Handle supplier claims related to discrepancies in material reception.

Perform Active, Slow, Dead (ASD) analysis to optimize inventory.

Prepare monthly/annual reports on surplus reduction, sales, and disposal.

Conduct rolling, punctual, and annual inventories.
Requirements
-
Minimum 5 years of experience in Oil & Gas logistics and operations.

Strong knowledge of supply chain and materials management in an industrial setting.

Experience working with MRP and SAP S/4HANA ERP systems.

Excellent leadership, organizational, and team-building skills in a multicultural environment.

Strong command of English and proficiency in computer applications.
