Are you an AVEVA Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Specialist with experience in FPSO projects? This is an exciting opportunity to apply your expertise in AVEVA E&I systems administration, configuration, and troubleshooting to ensure seamless project execution.

Overall Job Purpose

As an AVEVA E&I Administrator, you will be the single point of contact for the setup, maintenance, upgrades, and administration of AVEVA Electrical and Instrumentation systems across all MODEC FPSO projects. You will work closely with engineering disciplines, project management, and vendors to ensure seamless integration and optimization of AVEVA tools.

Key Responsibilities

AVEVA System Administration & Integration

  • Setup, configure, maintain, troubleshoot, and administer AVEVA Electrical and AVEVA Instrumentation systems.
  • Ensure smooth integration between AVEVA Electrical, AVEVA Instrumentation, AVEVA P&ID, AVEVA Engineering, AVEVA E3D, and other relevant tools.
  • Develop customized solutions and work instructions for AVEVA E&I applications.
  • Manage AVEVA licenses across projects and ensure optimal utilization.

Project Support & Coordination

  • Serve as the AVEVA system expert across multiple FPSO projects, ensuring seamless production of deliverables.
  • Work closely with engineering, procurement, HSE, QA/QC, operations, and construction teams to meet project deadlines.
  • Participate in project meetings, risk assessments, and vendor kick-off meetings to address AVEVA-related requirements.
  • Provide troubleshooting support and preventive solutions to minimize project disruptions.

Training & Continuous Improvement

  • Train MODEC engineers and project users on AVEVA Electrical and Instrumentation tools.
  • Engage with AVEVA software vendors to stay updated on new features and improvements.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, including the development of work methodologies and procedures.

Qualifications & Experience

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or Computer Science.

Certifications:

  • Training in AVEVA Engineering and AVEVA Instrumentation administration.

Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in AVEVA Electrical and Instrumentation engineering within offshore/onshore Oil & Gas or FPSO projects.
  • Specialist knowledge of AVEVA E&I system administration and integration with other AVEVA tools.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements in the Oil & Gas industry.
  • Experience in engaging with vendors for product updates and support.
