IT Service Management Project Manager

Location: Stockholm, Sweden
Assignment Length: Initial 6-month contract (potential for extension)
Assignment Type: Residential
Work Schedule: 8 hours per day, 5 days per week (Hybrid – 3 days on-site, 2 days remote)

We are recruiting for an experienced IT Service Management Project Manager to support a leading multinational power and energy company in Stockholm. This role offers an exciting opportunity to drive improvements in IT service management, governance, and operational efficiency within a large-scale organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct a thorough analysis of existing IT processes and systems to identify areas for improvement and recommend actionable solutions.
  • Engage and manage stakeholders at all levels to create alignment on IT service management strategies and frameworks.
  • Benchmark and develop recommendations on IT service management best practices to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency.
  • Design and implement IT operating models that align with business objectives and improve organisational performance.
  • Lead change management initiatives, including defining KPIs, timelines, and expected outcomes.

Mandatory Qualifications & Skills

  • Extensive knowledge of IT Service Management and frameworks such as ITIL.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing IT operating models.
  • Strong understanding of IT governance policies and best practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to work within large, complex organisations.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Successful track record in change management for IT processes and ways of working.
  • Fluent in English (both written and spoken).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree in IT or a related field.
  • Professional certifications such as ITIL, PMP (or similar).
  • Experience in management consulting within top-tier consulting firms.
  • Knowledge of emerging technologies and trends in IT service management.
