Work Schedule: 8 Hours per day/5 days a week (3 days in-office, 2 days work from home)

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced H&S Specialist for an Onshore Windfarm project located in Velinga. The role will focus on supporting the construction site in the implementation and management of the Health & Safety (H&S) Management System in accordance with ISO 45001 standards. This position requires a strong ability to provide independent advice and ensure compliance with legal requirements, internal H&S ambitions, and industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advise and support the construction site team on the effective implementation of the H&S Management System in line with ISO 45001.
  • Provide both proactive and reactive advice to ensure compliance with legal standards, internal H&S policies, and industry standards.
  • Ensure that high H&S standards are maintained on-site, ensuring compliance with local regulations and the company’s objectives.
  • Conduct daily/weekly H&S walks and workplace inspections in collaboration with management and contractors, reporting findings in written reports.
  • Support and advise on the close-out actions following workplace inspections and H&S audits.
  • Liaise with the H&S Team and line organisation to ensure consistent communication and information sharing.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Fluency in Swedish and English is mandatory.
  • A valid BAS-U certificate is required. Candidates who do not possess this certificate will not be considered.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with contractors to achieve common H&S goals.
  • Proven experience working within the construction and onshore wind sectors, with a strong understanding of Health & Safety practices.

Education and Experience:

  • A BAS-U certificate is a requirement.
  • Relevant engineering, construction, or health & safety qualifications.
  • Experience in the onshore wind industry is highly advantageous.
