Position Title: Head of System Completion
Reports To: Commissioning/System Completion Division Manager
Position Overview:
The Head of System Completion is responsible for managing the system completion work process and database for offshore projects, ensuring that all objectives are met safely, on schedule, and within scope while adhering to safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the system completion workflow and database from engineering through to final acceptance.
- Lead the execution of system completion processes at onshore/offshore sites, ensuring alignment with project targets.
- Provide technical support to contractors, ensuring quality, safety, and planning for system completion execution.
- Review and approve system completion documentation from EPC contractors, ensuring compliance with project schedules and requirements.
- Monitor risk management plans, propose mitigations, and oversee commissioning changes, including cost and schedule impacts.
- Mentor trainees and maintain a register of lessons learned.

Reports To: Commissioning/System Completion Division Manager
Internal: Commissioning team, Engineering, Construction, Planning, OES
External: EPC System Completion Lead/Manager, EPC Commissioning Team
Candidate Specification – Minimum Requirements:
Skills:
- Proficient in written and spoken English.
- Strong computer literacy, including technical applications.
- Experience with interface coordination and documentation.
Qualifications:
- Master's or Bachelor's Engineering Degree (or equivalent) with a minimum of 10 years’ experience.
Experience:
- Minimum 10 years of experience, with at least 5 years in system completion for major capital projects.
- Hands-on experience managing system completion workflows, databases (e.g., ICAPS, OPERCOM), and interfacing with internal and external teams.
- Experience in developing system completion processes for multi-disciplinary EPC contractors in the oil and gas industry, including managing punch lists, certifications, and workpacks for offshore campaigns.
