We are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join a dynamic team in the energy sector. Key Responsibilities:

Discipline Engineering Coordination: Facilitate and coordinate the technical work products within the discipline engineering team, ensuring that all deliverables meet project requirements.

Communication and Coordination: Act as the key point of communication between internal teams and contractors, addressing any technical, safety, or regulatory issues that may arise during the project lifecycle.

Quality Assurance: Evaluate and comment on work performed by contractors and sub-contractors to ensure compliance with specifications, standards, and regulatory requirements. This includes reviewing discipline design drawings and documents.

Deviation Management: Identify and assess any deviations from contract technical specifications and regulatory requirements, ensuring they are processed according to company procedures. Maintain a Deviation Control Log for tracking purposes.

Query and Information Stewardship: Address discipline engineering queries from contractors and sub-contractors, ensuring timely responses to technical information requests.

Project Progress Reporting: Keep the Lead Engineer informed about the progress of discipline engineering tasks, any deviations, and any concerns related to execution.

Site Reviews: Participate in discipline engineering reviews at contractor and sub-contractor locations to ensure that all work aligns with project standards.

Capital Efficiency: Drive capital efficiency in engineering design, promoting cost-effective and high-performance solutions.

Support for Initiatives: Support internal engineering initiatives and global practice projects as directed by the supervisor. Apply engineering principles to design electrical systems that meet project requirements.
Skills and Qualifications:

Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering field, or equivalent professional experience.

Technical Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of discipline design standards, specifications, codes, and safety criteria relevant to electrical engineering.

Data Analysis: Proficiency in data collection and analysis, with experience using tools such as SAP, Excel Analytics, and Tableau.

Adaptability: Ability to manage tight deadlines, heavy workloads, and frequent changes in project priorities.

Software Proficiency: Strong proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).

Communication Skills: Fluent in written and spoken English, especially for technical and business communications.
Desirable Skills and Qualifications:

BS7671 18th Edition Qualification: Knowledge of the latest electrical regulations is a plus.

CompEx Ex12 Qualification: Experience with hazardous areas and electrical safety systems.
