Scope of work:
To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Construction Manager for an on-site opportunity at one of our company's locations. We are seeking a Construction Manager with experience in organizing and managing construction sites, supervising work teams, and overseeing civil works activities. The candidate will be responsible for the correct execution of the works, respecting the planned times and costs, while always maintaining high safety and quality standards for the realization of a project to be managed together with existing staff.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor project progress.
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to established technical specifications.
- Collaborate with the engineering and construction team already on site for effective project implementation.
- Manage the technical and administrative documentation necessary for the proper execution of site activities.
- Manage project resources, personnel, materials, and equipment to optimize efficiency within contractual deadlines.
- Oversee urbanization activities, understanding technical and regulatory aspects.
- Identify, analyze, and manage project risks, developing mitigation plans to ensure project success.
- Prepare and present periodic progress reports to the internal E&C team.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations (internal TEPIT procedures) and company quality standards.
- Act as an interface between the client and subcontractors for planning, controlling, and executing the works as per the project.
- Maintain a log of site activities, managing subcontractor execution in accordance with the presented plan and contractual requirements.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Degree in Engineering, preferably Civil/Building, or equivalent qualification.
At least 5 years of experience in managing construction sites, preferably in the civil sector, in a similar role.
In-depth knowledge of safety regulations and construction site management practices.
Strong organizational and planning skills, with particular attention to detail.
Excellent problem-solving and time management skills.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to manage interpersonal relationships.
Flexibility and ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
Knowledge and familiarity with basic and common software tools such as Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, AutoCAD, and Internet use.
