Construction / Construction Project Manager

Location: Kuwait

Primary Objectives

• Project Management & Coordination: Provide management, control, supervision, and assistance for assigned projects, ensuring successful execution from inception to completion.
• Budget & Cost Control: Oversee budget formulation, cost control, and financial management, ensuring projects are delivered within scope and budget constraints.
• Quality Assurance & Compliance: Implement and monitor quality assurance protocols, ensuring adherence to industry standards and client specifications.
• Engineering & Procurement Management: Supervise and direct engineering, procurement, and construction management of contractors appointed by the client.
• Oil & Gas Production Support: Provide management services for Oil & Gas production activities, including start-up assistance, operational personnel coordination, and system implementation.
• Leadership & Strategic Oversight: Report to the Line Manager, with the authority to deputize in their absence, bringing a proven track record of managing multi-projects in the Oil & Gas sector, particularly in Design, Engineering, and Construction.
• Soil Remediation Strategy Development: Lead the development of soil remediation strategies, including contracting approaches and contractor management for the assigned areas.
• Engineering Coordination & Execution: Oversee multidiscipline engineering activities, ensuring seamless execution of projects such as:
  • FEED (Front-End Engineering Design) studies and preparation.
  • ITB (Invitation to Bid) check estimate preparation.
  • LSTK (Lump Sum Turnkey) tender package development.
• Client & Regulatory Interface: Serve as the primary technical coordination contact with the client to ensure their expectations and project objectives are met.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that projects conform to the approved Basis of Design and comply with all applicable regulatory codes and requirements.

Minimum Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (or equivalent discipline).
• Total Industry Experience: Minimum 15 years of experience in project management, engineering, and construction.
• Oil & Gas Experience: At least 5 years of direct experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
