Job Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced Corrosion and Inspection Support Supervisor with a strong background in refinery operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing corrosion control and inspection activities to ensure the integrity and safety of refinery equipment and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement corrosion control programs and inspection plans for refinery equipment.
  • Supervise and coordinate inspection activities, including non-destructive testing (NDT) and visual inspections.
  • Analyze inspection data to identify corrosion issues and recommend corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements for corrosion control and inspection.
  • Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to schedule and prioritize inspection and maintenance activities.
  • Provide technical support and guidance on corrosion prevention and mitigation strategies.
  • Prepare detailed reports on inspection findings and corrosion control measures.
  • Train and mentor junior staff on corrosion control techniques and inspection procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in corrosion control and inspection within a refinery setting.
  • Strong knowledge of corrosion mechanisms, materials selection, and protective coatings.
  • Proficiency in non-destructive testing (NDT) methods and inspection techniques.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Certification in API 510/570/653 or equivalent is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in a related field.
  • Experience with risk-based inspection (RBI) methodologies.
  • Familiarity with refinery management software and tools.
